Announcement of Results for the Logo Design Competition of the University of Health Sciences, VNU-HCM

Starting from April 16, 2024, the Logo Design Competition for the University of Health Sciences, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City has attracted 64 authors and groups of professional and amateur authors from 20 provinces and cities nationwide with 125 entries.
Each work carries a unique and impressive idea, conveying meaningful messages reflecting a deep investment level. Many entries demonstrated professional design and presentation by separating graphic elements and including detailed standards.
Through several rounds of selection with the participation of the School’s leadership and the Heads of departments and units; followed by preliminary and final rounds, the Art Council has considered, evaluated, compared, and selected 11 outstanding works. Among them, the entry with code MS-78 by author Nguyễn Duy Thành was selected as the Impressive Award winner. This work has also been widely reviewed within the entire School. According to the rules, the author of the Impressive Award logo will continue to work with the Organizing Committee to complete the work and design it in multiple formats for consistent application across various uses as required by the Art Council. The final announcement will be made once the school completes the relevant trademark protection procedures.
The Organizing Committee sincerely thanks the authors for participating in the competition and contributing their affection and creativity to building the brand identity of the School. The University of Health Sciences – VNU-HCM was recently established based on its predecessor, the School of Medicine – VNU-HCM, according to the decision on June 3 by the Prime Minister. The development of the logo and brand identity plays a crucial role in continuing, developing, and positioning the school’s image. The logo design competition is a meaningful event, marking the beginning of a new and creative journey for the University of Health Sciences – VNU-HCM.
