SCHOOL OF MEDICINE VNU-HCM WELCOMED THE DELEGATION OF SEMMELWEIS MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, HUNGARY

On the morning of November 1st, 2022, Prof. PhD. MD. Dang Van Phuoc, Dean of the School the School of Medicine – VNU-HCM greatly welcomed and worked with the delegation of Semmelweis Medical University, Hungary to visit and work, Mr. Pop Marcell, Director of International Office was the delegation leader.
Mr. Pop Marcell briefly introduced about Semmelweis Medical University, which is the oldest school in Hungary. He also expressed his desire to cooperate with the School of Medicine VNU-HCM on the potentials of training cooperation between the two universities in the future.
Speaking at the meeting, Prof. PhD. MD. Dang Van Phuoc thanked the visit of Semmelweis Medical University and introduced the School of Medicine – VNU-HCM’s training programmes as well as the journey of transformation from the School to the University. According to Prof. PhD. MD. Dang Van Phuoc, the initial meeting will facilitate the long-term cooperation in the exchange of teaching experiences together with the exchange of credits and learning between two Universities later.
The training connection between the School of Medicine – VNU-HCM and major universities in the world clearly demonstrates the School’s mission in line with the orientation of international integration, creating favourable conditions to facilitate the students’ leaning in different environments. This enables the SoM – VNU-HCM students to become global citizens, approaching international integration and career development after graduation.
